My name is Mandi Morrison, I am aged 37, married to Asa, we have six children aged one to teen with baby number seven due in September 2013, I began my breastfeeding journey 15 years ago. I had always known that I would breastfeed , but no-one really knows how they will manage with this very emotional and difficult journey.
I was fortunate that I had a really supportive midwife and I took to breastfeeding very easily, I know that is not the case for many women and I hope that this blog will help mums to overcome any difficulties.
I do not have a magic wand that I can wave and every mum can breastfeed with ease, but I have been there, through the milk coming in, the cluster feeding, mastitis, thrush - you name it I have probably been there and bought the T-Shirt, so I do understand what you are going through.
